Sleepy sleepy.

I miss my bed at home. It's big, comfy and has lots of blankets and quilts that I can snuggle in. My bed here is nice, but small and not as comfy. Can't wait to jump into my bed at home again and snuggle. Now I just need a kitty to cuddle with...

Here are a few sleepy photos for you late tonight. I'm sorry I don't have sources! I have had these for a long time. Anyone have suggestions for keeping sources? I want to give credit for this amazing photography...

Have a good sleepy Tuesday night.

Picture of my old kitty - Cuddles. He was such a sweetheart! I miss him so much!

I found this adorable picture on The Dainty Squid. I miss having a kitty sooo much! And I think I might be adopting one this year! So excited!

This is such a fun site: http://www.pumpkinpirate.info/ks/ I found it on The Dainty Squid. Her blog is so cute!

I can't really upload much else right now but I thought I'd share those couple of things! I'm excited to get back home where the internet loads everything so much more quickly!

Also - in other news, this summer is going to be an exciting start of a little project for my amazing friend and I. She's fabulous and so talented. I can't wait to start this with her! So keep an eye out!

See you soon! ♥ Kenzie

I know, I know...

Right. So I haven't posted in a while... but to be fair, internet here in Argentina is difficult. But here I am to post fun things. Above is wallpaper from Mini Moderns who I now love. It's part of their new collection called the Folk Rock Collection. So cute. I wish I had a place to put all of their wallpaper up. It would be fabulous.

Also, I need to buy a sketchbook/find an art store! That's right, I came here without a sketchbook. I was thinking my journal could be a substitute for a sketchbook... it's just not working. I have a mini sketchbook that I've been carrying around with me which has been working pretty well, just a little too little.

So Easter here is a bit different from Easter at home. Easter here is during Saint's Week and basically everyone just goes on vacation and you can't eat meat on Easter, just fish. Which is fine with me. Also, families don't get together but good thing is -- I did see Easter candy at the grocery store the other day. Phew!

All of these eggs are so gorgeous! I haven't dyed Easter eggs in so long but these make me want to be home to paint some. I have never seen eggs like this before. They are so beautiful.

If you hop over to Design Sponge, they have a DIY on making Ukranian eggs. It looks so fun!

Hope you finish off the weekend wonderfully!

packing, packing, packing...

My plane leaves Thursday at 3:20 pm for Mendoza, Argentina. (^^^)I will be there for 3 months. How nervous am I? Oh my... but doesn't it look so pretty?

I will be taking Spanish classes so I am scanning my notes into my laptop from past classes. I'm on #73... it's amost like they're multiplying by the minute.

Oh. And I haven't started packing yet... but I do have a laundry basket full of gifts!

Here are some random inspirations for your martes (Tuesday in Spanish :))

(I don't have sources... :x)

Where are you traveling to these days?

Long time, no post

[Yup, I made mustache mugs for my friends ♥]

Things have been interesting lately from the end of the semester finals to me soon traveling to Argentina and trying to get ready for that! [February 25th!!]

Therefore, I have been slacking. But I'll really try to keep this up
for a while now. Really. I promise. I want to document my trip in Argentina somehow also, and I'm thinking this might be a good way to do it.

This week has been a little inspiration-less in my apartment since my parents came to take away all my things. I love to live with many, many things around me for inspirtion and with no posters, paintings or ability to paint [they took my paints too :/] I have been definitely feeling the lack. But I try to remember that in a few days, I will be home with all my inspiring things!

Without my paints and brushes, I have been having an extreme urge to paint. It's hard to not go down to the store and buy more. But I will resist for a few days.

Until then, this is how I have been solving my inspiration problem -- thank god for the internet.

Discoveries through Rachel Denbow's wonderful blog like:

I have also found this amazing
illustrator through a favorite nearby store called Oop

It's called Story People and they make my heart melt

These have been so inspiring to me in the last few days. I have actually been writing my own, with illustrations to pair with them soon.

I also have a few paintings I have been working on, which will be posted later.

Glad to be back!

p.s. I can't wait to see one of my amazing best friends Antonella in a few weeks!! It's been almost 3 years!
